5 Tips to control sugar level
1. Choose nutritious food and eat three meals a day. No meals should be skipped. Additionally, choose low-glycemic-index carbs and a variety of low-carbohydrate vegetables. This make you feel full for longer period. Fiber-rich vegetables can help reduce blood sugar levels as well as excretion.

2. When you're overweight and want to lose weight, the body mass index (BMI) is a commonly used benchmark that is determined by dividing the weight per kilogram unit by the height in meters twice. The normal BMI should fall between 18.5-22.9 kg/m2, which cannot be applied to obese people but the amount of fat in the body does not surpass the threshold such as muscle individuals, people with edema, pregnant women, and those who have huge tumors, etc.
3. Exercise three times a week or more, for at least 30 minutes at a time.

4. Follow your doctor's diabetes medication as prescribed
5. Check your blood sugar levels on a regular basis. Maintain as near to normal blood sugar levels as possible.
